As many others have said, the location alone is what makes this a very special place. If I visit the area again I will certainly check if Glenbank is available before I book anywhere else. The view of lush undulating and relaxing scenery is viewable from every single window and was further enhanced by the spring lambs right up to the fence ! The cottage is cosy and well stocked with kitchen equipment and everything you need. It is also very private and peaceful. The area has tons of great walks and tranquil scenery for all levels of fitness. Galloway forest park is wonderfully relaxing and tranquil too. We were contacted by the owner a day before to advise where to pick up keys and further bits of information and assured to contact her if we needed anything. This cottage has really spoilt us as the location was so perfect, all future cottages will be compared to Glenbank!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The host phoned us a few days before to check whether we had any queries and was very helpful. The accomdation is set in a lovely location and the main room has three large windows which enables guests to see the far reaching views which we loved. The accomodation had lots of kitchen equipment, games, TV etc which all augments the stay.
